Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, ensuring top-notch cleanliness and adherence to brand standards. You will coordinate staffing, training, and payroll while maintaining safety compliance and department budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to drive a culture of care and operational excellence across guestrooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year management experience in hotel Housekeeping.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Knowledge of OPERA Property Management System preferred.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities, leading and directing multiple projects while overseeing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel, including facilities, guestrooms, and public areas.
• Manage the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, including staff selection, training, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Ensure guestrooms and public areas meet comfort and aesthetics standards.
• Adhere to OSHA, ADA, and hotel safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness scores at or above brand requirements.
• Plan and coordinate project work with proper rotation and accountability.
• Lead hiring and onboarding for departmental hires, including interviewing and training.
• Complete departmental payroll review and approval.
• Lead and mentor employees with quarterly one-on-one meetings and monthly staff meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Lexima handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure ongoing safety training and compliance with all safety requirements.
• Any other tasks as required by management.
