Job summary

Staybridge Suites San Antonio Airport is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead daily housekeeping operations and uphold IHG brand standards. You will supervise the housekeeping team, conduct trainings, and ensure rooms and public areas meet quality expectations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, a minimum of one year of hotel housekeeping experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Minimum one year of hotel housekeeping experience is required.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations.
Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping team members.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure IHG brand standards are maintained.
Assist with daily room assignments, scheduling, and productivity.
Coordinate with front desk and maintenance departments.
Monitor housekeeping supplies, inventory, and equipment.
Assist with cleaning guest rooms and laundry operations as needed.
Ensure rooms are completed efficiently and meet quality expectations.
