Job summary

Xanterra Parks & Resorts Grand Canyon Railway (GCR) is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee guest services at the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel in Williams, AZ. This full-time, year-round role involves resolving guest issues, training staff, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

The position offers a $20.25 per hour wage, supervisory responsibilities, and opportunities to lead front desk operations while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in the lodging industry.
• Guest service and cash handling experience.
• Experience with computers and Windows-type software.
• Hotel Property Management Software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest problems to the best of your ability and never leave a guest unsatisfied.
• Train front desk staff and supervise operations in absence of management.
• Perform duties of Guest Service Agent and Night Audit when needed.
• Manage schedules and labor according to business levels.
• Ensure adherence to lodging standards and safety.”
• Coordinate group tours and VIP arrivals; inspect rooms for VIPs.
• Maintain cross-shift communications and inform management promptly.
