Job summary

Fuku is seeking a Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and drive a warm, hospitality-driven guest experience at our Coral Gables location. You will lead on the floor, train Team Members, and uphold food quality, safety, and service standards across FOH and BOH stations.

The Supervisor sets the shift tone with energy and care, coaching staff, handling guest concerns with empathy, and ensuring accurate POS and cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary school or equivalent restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly in the language(s) used in the work location.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen equipment, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with food items, spices, ingredients, and recipe execution.
• Ability to read, follow, and teach recipes and standard operating procedures.
• Valid food handler certification (or ability to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Operational & Service Leadership: Oversees flow of service and guides team in absence of managers.
• Training & Team Development: Coaches and develops Team Members for consistent service and standards.
• Food Quality & Safety: Ensures portioning accuracy, line checks, sanitation, and FIFO storage.
• Accuracy & Accountability: Manages POS transactions, cash handling, and waste control.
• Facilities & Equipment: Monitors equipment and communicates issues to management.
