Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Houseperson to help keep public areas spotless and support guest experiences across our Charleston-area hotels. You’ll greet guests warmly, assist with room cleaning as needed, and help manage supplies to keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll participate in periodic deep cleaning projects and report maintenance needs to ensure a well-kept property, contributing to Hilton’s light-filled hospitality culture and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Keep public areas spotless: maintain cleanliness of designated areas—restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces—by daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, washing windows, and emptying trash
• Delight our guests: greet guests warmly, deliver requested items, and assist with room cleaning as needed
• Manage supplies: stock and organize supply rooms to support housekeeping operations
• Handle special projects: perform periodic deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors
• Support property maintenance: identify and report any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to ensure a well-kept property
