Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise room attendants and laundry staff, and ensure rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s high cleanliness and presentation standards.

You will train staff, assign schedules, inspect rooms, coordinate with front desk and maintenance, manage supplies, and uphold safety policies while delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and order.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Proficient in using housekeeping management systems or mobile task tracking apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the work of room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff.
• Assign daily room and cleaning schedules according to occupancy and staffing levels.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and proper setup.
• Train new housekeeping staff on procedures, safety, and standards.
• Monitor supply usage and manage inventory of linens and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests and coordinate with front desk for room readiness.
• Enforce safety policies and proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
