Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Irving, Texas seeks a Housekeeping Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team, including room attendants, seamstresses, and turndown attendants, by assisting with guest and associate requests and ensuring quality service.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and communication.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Prior coordinating or phone-answering experience preferred.
• Able to lift 20–25 lbs intermittently, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand, bend and perform repetitive movements for long periods.
• Able to push/pull a housekeeping cart.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily Housekeeping meetings/huddle.
• Communicate with all departments.
• Respond to guest and department requests by phone.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering for updates.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas.
• Assist other housekeeping associates as needed.
• Transport soiled linen and waste from rooms to disposal.
• Report maintenance issues and schedule special cleaning as assigned.
• Deliver guest amenities and special requests to rooms.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly projects.
• Clean stairwells, elevators, and hallways free of debris.
• Maintain supply storeroom by organizing and restocking supplies.
