Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an upbeat Host to greet guests, seat them, and manage reservations with OpenTable. You’ll help create a warm first impression and support the dining room to keep service flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per day.
• Guest-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• FOH positions require applicants to be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
