Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: County of San Diego Food Handler Card.
• Desirable: High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
• Desirable: Guest or Hospitality service experience.
• Desirable: Restaurant server experience.
• Desirable: Casino experience.
• Desirable: 6 months cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in the casino and restaurant areas.
• Verify age with identification for patrons entering the restaurant and manage guest seating.
• Enter guest count into the seating program and page servers or guests when a table is available.
• Answer guest questions, provide menu information, explain the seating program, and share promotions.
• Maintain clean and sanitary dining areas by cleaning surfaces, clearing tables, and resetting them.
• Stock and clean work stations by rolling silverware, folding napkins, and setting tables.
• Process cash transactions, balance money, log discounts, VIP points, and credit card entries as required.
