Job summary

R365hire is seeking a guest-focused Host in Nashville to welcome guests, seat them, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests, inform them about promotions, manage lanes, and assist with takeout as needed to keep the host stand tidy and welcoming.

The role emphasizes strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting to support both guests and restaurant staff.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests.
• Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to servers and managers.
• Strong telephone communication skills.
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10–30 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in to curl or bowl.
• Inform guests of current promotions and where to meet the ice instructor.
• Manage the bowling lanes and fix if a ball or pins are caught behind bowling.
• Operate cash registers to accept payments for game play.
• Answer the phone.
• Take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
