Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Bossier City is seeking a Restaurant Host (Luk Fu) to greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.

You will coordinate seating, assist servers, answer calls, manage wait times, and help maintain a clean host area in a fast-paced, 24-hour restaurant environment. Must be 21+, have a high school diploma, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Experience: Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or Live’s operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Greeting / welcoming and seating guests.
• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
