Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Bossier City is seeking a Restaurant Host for the Sports & Social venue. You will greet guests, manage seating, and help create a friendly, high-energy dining experience.

This role requires 21+, a high school diploma or GED, customer service experience, and the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and compliance with Louisiana gaming rules are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

Must have an upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.
Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner.
Must be available to work all shifts; to include day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Must possess good communication skills.
Ability to work in a loud, high-energy 24-hour work environment.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Greeting / welcoming and seating guests.
Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant.
Assisting wait/bar staff.
Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
Other duties as assigned.
