Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.
• Manage the reservation system and communicate seating plans with the kitchen and waitstaff.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus, noting specials or promotions.
• Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized, including stations and waiting areas.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates during peak hours and manage guest expectations.
• Coordinate with wait staff to optimize guest flow and seating arrangements.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, and daily specials to assist guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating to management when needed.
• Thank guests on departure and solicit feedback to improve service.
