Job summary

Big Woods Restaurants is hiring a part-time Busser at our Nashville location in Indiana. You will set tables, keep the dining area clean, and assist waitstaff to ensure a smooth guest experience. The role requires a friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
• Must be 16+ years of age
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Be able to stand for long periods, and lift trays or bus tubs as needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Table Setting and Clearing: Set up tables with clean tableware, glassware, and utensils before guests arrive. Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
• Cleanliness: Continuously monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a neat appearance.
• Assist Waitstaff: Support the waitstaff by refilling water glasses, delivering food to tables, and addressing guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Greet Guests: Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, escort them to their tables, and offer assistance as needed.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
• Safety: Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Knowledge: Stay informed about the restaurant's menu, specials, and promotions to assist guests with inquiries.
• Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guests have a positive experience by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
