Big Woods Noblesville is seeking a friendly part-time Host to warmly greet guests and set the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and keep the front-of-house area organized, with a focus on attentive service.

This hourly role includes tip sharing, weekend availability, and the chance to grow with a locally owned Indiana brand known for hospitality and crafted fare. Applicants should be 16+ and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage the reservation system, record reservations, and communicate with staff.
• Maintain a tidy front-of-house area and host station.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage guest expectations.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and inform about specials.
• Accommodate special requests such as accessibility needs and seating prefs.
• Handle inquiries and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth seating and guest flow.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, and daily specials.
• Manage waitlists during busy periods and communicate availability.
• Assist in keeping front-of-house clean and organized.
• Thank guests as they leave and gather feedback.
