Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a friendly Host to be the first welcoming face guests see in our restaurant. You will guide guests to their tables, hand off menus, and energize the dining experience with your enthusiasm.

In this role, you will coordinate with the service team to maintain fast, courteous service, ensure the dining room meets safety standards, and help guests feel valued from arrival to departure. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and guide them to their perfect table.
• Hand off menus and inform guests about specials.
• Coordinate breaks for the service team to maintain smooth operation.
• Keep dining room clean and safe, meeting health standards.
• Turn guest concerns into opportunities to wow them and escalate when needed.
• Track guest counts and note any issues for continuous improvement.
