Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly Host to greet and seat guests in our restaurant specialty room. You will ensure guests are welcomed promptly and guided to their tables.

You will open and close the outlet on schedule, assist with dining room setup, handle reservations or comps with management, and maintain a welcoming foyer and dining area while upholding all policies. Prior host experience and POS knowledge are preferred; must be 16+ and able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior Host experience preferred.
• Knowledge of point of sale systems preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, timely manner.
• Open/close assigned outlet properly and on time.
• Interact with management or guests requesting reservations or comps.
• Assist in set-up and maintenance of dining area (linen, candles, flowers, etc.).
• Notify management of VIP presence.
• Maintain foyer and dining areas to standards.
• Stock service items as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested to provide optimal service.
• Adhere to all policies and regulations.
