You are a natural people person with strong organization and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities while coordinating with servers and staff to deliver smooth service at every shift. This on-site role supports a friendly team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, and communicate requests to staff.
• Ability to communicate on the telephone.
• Must be able to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus.
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and rotation.
• Inform guests of current promotions and service assignments.
• Manage flow of guests to dining and bar areas and provide wait times.
• Operate cash registers to accept payments.
• Answer the phone.
• Take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat and presentable.
