FAR Out Hospitality is seeking a friendly Greeter/Host to be the first point of contact for guests across its Texas restaurants. You will create a welcoming dining experience, greet arrivals, and guide guests to their tables using touchpoints like Aloha or Micros POS for reservations and walk-ins.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service and hospitality environments.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across hospitality settings.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude upon arrival, making them feel immediately welcomed.
• Manage guest check-in procedures efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to record reservations and walk-in arrivals.
• Direct guests to their tables or designated areas while providing helpful information about the venue's offerings.
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff and management to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the greeting area, ensuring a polished appearance at all times.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest experience.
