Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests and manage seating in our Charlotte area venues. You will be the first and last impression for guests, coordinating seating times, reservations, and special requests with a welcoming, guest‑focused approach.

As part of IRHG, you will support smooth dining room operations by relaying messages between the kitchen and front-of-house team, helping to ensure a warm, efficient experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant host experience.
• Demonstrates positive energy and teamwork.
• Communicates effectively with managers, staff, and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations using OpenTable.
• Greet guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
• When seating is limited, provide estimated waiting times and manage seating requests.
• Relay messages between kitchen and dining room and support staff.
