Job summary

The Cosmopolitan is hiring a Hostperson for The Red Plate to welcome guests, manage reservations, and coordinate with servers, runners, and the kitchen. You will help ensure a warm, efficient first impression and seamless seating flow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to handle busy shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training includes menu knowledge and coordination with reservations and dining staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a resort/hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with SevenRooms system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly as they enter the restaurant.
• Relay guest needs and special orders to management and kitchen staff.
• Maintain knowledge of reservations, seating, and table numbers.
• Keep service areas and menus up to date and organized.
• Assist management to ensure smooth, high-quality guest experiences.
