Job summary

Holiday Inn Washington - College Park in College Park, MD is seeking a Guest Service Agent who will be the first friendly face guests see, setting the tone for their stay. You’ll create genuine connections, anticipate needs, and ensure guests feel seen and valued during check-in, stay, and check-out.

You’re a host, guide, and problem-solver, empowered by Unscripted Hospitality to turn simple stays into memorable experiences. Training will be provided for hotel systems and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations, directions, and assistance to enhance each guest’s visit.
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with patience and empathy.
• Process reservations, payments, and room assignments using the property management system.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, and local area attractions.
