Root Down seeks a customer-focused team member to deliver exemplary service in a dynamic Denver dining setting. This role supports casual to fine dining experiences, collaborates with teammates, and adapts to changing guest expectations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will gain hands-on experience across multiple positions, learn from a dedicated team, and contribute to a welcoming, environmentally conscious restaurant culture in a bustling, scenic space.

Qualifications

• Previous service industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Some background in customer service is required.
• Ideal candidate will have some experience with OpenTable, and/or managing guests/customers over the phone.
• Desire and ability to learn & work multiple positions over time.
• Flexibility to operate in changing and fluid service environments with a broad range of guest expectations, from casual to fine dining.
• Committed to sustainable waste practices.
• Brings energy and a positive attitude.
• Works well collaboratively and individually.
• Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, high-integrity food handling/storage standards & procedures.
• Setting up, organizing, working, replenishing & cleaning a professional workstation.
