Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is hiring for a Server's Assistant position at Outback Steakhouse in California. The role is hourly, non-exempt, $18.20 per hour plus tips. Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
• For all California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
• All newly hired employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner.
• Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
• As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
