Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, seeks a Servers Assistant in California to greet guests, seat them, and support servers in a fast-paced dining room. You will help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from entry to exit.

This hourly, non-exempt role emphasizes teamwork and guest service, with opportunities to grow through the Shift Leader program and to enjoy meal discounts while working with a hospitable team.

Qualifications

• California requires Responsible Beverage Service Certifications (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Exposure to hot and cold environments.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in dining and bar areas; ensure smooth handoff to service staff.
• Provide fast, friendly service and upsell menu items.
• Support servers and dining room operations; buss tables and reset as needed.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
