Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly Host for Bob's Steak and Chop House to greet guests, manage seating, and record reservations. You will ensure a smooth dining flow by seating guests, answering calls, and coordinating with servers as needed.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and be comfortable with OpenTable. The role requires standing for long periods and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Familiar with OpenTable.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Must work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have STAR alcohol training certification.
• Must have a Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables and present menus.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Monitor dining room seating availability and guest well-being.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
