Job summary

The Lakehouse Resort is seeking a friendly Host for Brickmans at The Links. You will warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and guide guests to tables or wait areas to ensure a smooth dining flow.

A strong knowledge of the menu and excellent phone hospitality help create memorable experiences. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, managing reservations, and coordinating with servers to balance workloads while maintaining a clean front-of-house area.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is a plus.
• Energetic, positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a POS system.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance and be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide information and directions as needed.
• Seat guests at tables or place them on a wait list.
• Possess good knowledge of the menu and assist with reservations and questions.
• Manage seating and wait lists to balance server workloads.
• Keep host stand and lobby clean and stocked; update floor chart during shift.
• Provide excellent hospitality and service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
