Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Orlando is seeking a courteous Host/Hostess to monitor dining sections, greet guests, and manage the waiting list, seating guests per the seating chart, and handle reservations. You will work with management to ensure smooth guest flow and a positive first impression.

Responsibilities include answering phones, presenting menus, maintaining clean tables, and coordinating with FOH/BOH teams.

Qualifications

• Commitment to quality service and knowledge of food and beverage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and flexible to shift changes.
• Tips certification must be valid and current.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat at appropriate tables according to the seating chart.
• Answer telephones and manage reservations with enthusiasm.
• Maintain and reset dining room and tables as needed.
• Collaborate with management and staff to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Assist with parties and events planning when required.
