Job summary

Hawksmoor Chicago is seeking Hosts/Reservationists to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests from inquiry to departure, you will manage reservations using OpenTable and provide warm, knowledgeable hospitality.

You will work closely with the restaurant team to uphold Hawksmoor's standards, handle guest notes, VIPs, and group bookings, and ensure a smooth, welcoming dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred.
• Ability to manage reservations and guest inquiries.
• Knowledge of Hawksmoor service standards and values.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest reviews warmly and professionally.
• Manage reservations accurately and efficiently using OpenTable.
• Use the Triple Seat platform to respond to guest inquiries and manage group bookings.
• Welcome and check in guests with warmth and genuine hospitality.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and floor teams regarding guest notes and requests.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, including VIPs and special requirements.
• Demonstrate confident menu knowledge and make informed recommendations.
• Explain group dining options and guide guests to the best experience.
