Job summary

Treasure Island Beach Resort is seeking a welcoming Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly in the resort's dining venues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system.
• Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion.
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests.
• Manage inventory of tables available.
• Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy.
