Job summary

Topbrassdallas is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will be the first point of contact, manage seating and reservations, and assist guests with menus.

Ideal candidates have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, stay calm in a fast-paced setting, and are flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, with knowledge of reservation

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize table turnover
• Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions about the restaurant
• Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously
• Support the team in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment
