therustic in Dallas is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet patrons, manage wait times, and escort guests to dining or bar areas, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication abilities, solid organizational skills, and knowledge of restaurant etiquette and safety regulations. This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor seating across dining and bar areas.
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during a shift.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations: TABC and Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name.
• Greet customers upon departure and thank them for joining us.
• Maintain a clean host reception area.
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly).
• Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries.
• Assist with Togo Orders.
