Job summary

Edgewood Tahoe Resort is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat them promptly, and ensure a seamless front‑of‑house flow from arrival through seating. You will manage reservations and communicate with servers to maintain a smooth dining experience.

We value upbeat, professional communication, multitasking under pressure, and a passion for hospitality. Previous customer service experience helps, and familiarity with Guest Center/OpenTable is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service or hospitality.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency with computers; OpenTable/Guest Center experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage reservations and ensure accurate communication with guests and servers.
Keep track of wait times and maintain an organized seating flow.
Manage the seating chart and seat guests timely based on availability and preferences.
Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain an organized and clean entrance area.
Know the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests.
Communicate guest preferences and requests to the team.
Perform other related duties to support the team and business.
