Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a friendly Restaurant Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests and manage reservations, ensuring prompt seating and a seamless dining experience. You will coordinate with restaurant and bar staff to maintain an organized, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong guest service skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays. Food handlers certification may be required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly with guests and team.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must obtain Food Handlers certification upon hire.
• Must pass background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables.
• Manage reservations and seating flow to minimize wait times.
• Answer phone inquiries and record reservation details accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Communicate VIP or special requests to relevant staff.
• Assist with taking to-go orders and room service coordination.
• Support servers and bussers to ensure smooth service.
