Job summary

The Club at Mediterra in Naples, FL is seeking a Host/Hostess (Full Time/ Part Time Seasonal) to join our hospitality team. You will welcome members, monitor the Waiting List, seat guests, and coordinate with servers to ensure a memorable dining experience.

We value outstanding customer service, a friendly demeanor, and clear communication on the telephone. Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 20 pounds.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
• Friendly, open disposition and professional appearance.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; introduce their server
• Use visual cues to seat members in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
• Assisting members with reservations, requests, and communicating messages to the Leadership team
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant utilizing proper phone etiquette
• Taking To-go orders by having full menu knowledge
• Relaying any special dietary restrictions and special requests
• Performing opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership
• Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
• Working in collaboration with other teammates to deliver members/guests expectations
• Attending pre-meal meetings as requested by leadership
