Job summary

Bunkhouse Hotels is seeking a Part-Time Host/Hostess for Summer on Music Lane at Hotel Magdalena in Austin, TX. You will welcome guests, seat them, and ensure quality service, while upholding our culture and standards. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• TABC and ServeSafe certification required.
• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Six months’ related hospitality/service experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English in workplace.
• Ability to understand other computer programs/ PMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and information on establishment specialties.
• Inspect dining areas for cleanliness and proper setup, ensuring quick service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth dining experience.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
• Assist in planning events or functions as needed.
