Stonebridge Hospitality Management in Dallas, Texas is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, escort them to seats, manage reservations, and help create a positive dining experience.

This part-time position requires strong customer service, reliable attendance, and the stamina to stand and walk during shifts. You will support front-of-house operations, learn menus and promotions, and coordinate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior guest or customer service experience in hospitality.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, menus and promotions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for costs and change.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to seats in a courteous manner.
• Presents menus and answers questions about food and service.
• Manages seating based on activity and reservations.
• Performs opening and closing duties for service readiness.
• Assists staff with side-work and setup as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of hours, menu items, promos and specials.
• Responds to guest inquiries and ensures needs are met.
• Creates and manages reservations using the property system.
• Maintains seating charts and handles large parties and requests.
• Ensures a clean, organized work environment at all times.
• May assist with setup/clearing of function rooms.
• Attends department meetings and completes assigned projects.
