Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests and manage seating with precision at our Charlottesville locations. You will be the first and last impression for guests, ensuring smooth flow of dining room operations and accurate communication with the team.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of restaurant host experience, a positive, team-focused attitude, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant host experience.
• Positive energy and willingness to help the team.
• Clear communication with managers, employees and guests.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations using OpenTable.
• Greet guests warmly on arrival and thank them on departure.
• Manage seating times and accommodate seating requests when possible.
• Act as liaison between kitchen and dining room and relay messages.
