The Rusty Pelican Miami in Key Biscayne, FL is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and coordinate reservations to ensure a superb dining experience.

You will greet guests, guide them to tables, communicate wait times, and assist teammates to maintain a smooth front-of-house. Prior hosting or customer-facing experience is preferred; weekends and holidays are mandatory.

Qualifications

• A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing guest preferences and server sections.
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events.
