Job summary

Hai Hospitality is hiring Hosts for Uchi Newport Beach, located on Mariner's Mile. Orientation is planned for late November with a December 2026 opening. Duties include greeting guests, managing lines, and supporting service teams in a fast-paced setting.

Average earnings are $20-$25 per hour including tips, with base pay listed at $16.90 per hour plus tips. Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends and at least 4 days per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Detect and identify safety issues and follow guidelines.
• Lift and carry trays and gear up to 50 lbs; stock and restock as needed.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Move quickly in a fast-paced environment; teamwork essential.
• Adapt to hot and cold temperatures and reconfigure seating when needed.
