Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a Host to welcome and seat guests in an upbeat, professional manner, supporting daily outlet operations and maintaining dining area readiness. You’ll help manage guest flow, coordinate with service staff, and ensure a clean, inviting dining environment.

The role emphasizes guest service, team collaboration, and adherence to policies, including gaming laws where applicable. 6 months’ dining venue experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables while managing incoming calls and guest inquiries.
• Ensure tables are properly set and station readiness meets department standards throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with servers when seating guests outside designated sections.
• Maintain and inspect menus for cleanliness and availability.
• Assist with guest accommodations, including seating guests with disabilities or children.
• Communicate VIP arrivals or guest special requests to appropriate personnel.
• Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly, or escalate to a manager when necessary.
• Maintain working knowledge of the menu, including current specials.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
