Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni is seeking a dedicated, customer service-oriented Front Office Host to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves front desk duties, switchboard tasks, and guest services within a luxury hotel environment in Vancouver, Canada.

The position requires excellent guest service, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Visa eligibility to work in Canada is essential.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in luxury hotel front desk or similar role preferred.
• Experience with Micros, Opera, Microsoft Office, Alice, OpenTable is an asset.
• Professional telephone etiquette and excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible AM/PM/Overnight shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Visa requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Handle guest inquiries and requests at the Front Desk or Service Centre.
• Answer and transfer calls on the hotel switchboard and process In-Room Dining orders.
• Monitor hotel emergency lines and act as the communication hub for the hotel.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering.
• Ensure guest/colleague inquiries are answered promptly and professionally.
• Process guest payments and manage folios and settlements.
• Update room status changes with Housekeeping and drive upsell of room types.
