Hyatt Place Gainesville Downtown is opening a brand new hotel in downtown Gainesville and is seeking a self-motivated Hotel Host to greet guests and deliver exceptional service. You will handle welcome amenities, front desk duties, and support food & beverage operations, including bartending and barista tasks.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, a guest-focused attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent service at the front desk.
• Prepare and assemble welcome amenities.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and handle confidential guest information.
• Assist with guest check-in and checkout and service meeting rooms.
• Work with food & beverage operations including bartending and barista duties.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and quickly.
