Hyatt Place Gainesville Downtown is opening a brand new hotel in downtown Gainesville and is seeking a self-motivated Hotel Host to greet guests and deliver exceptional service. You will handle welcome amenities, front desk duties, and support food & beverage operations, including bartending and barista tasks.

Looking for an exciting opportunity to open a brand new hotel in Downtown Gainesville? Join our opening team! We are seeking a self‑motivated professional Hotel Host. The Hotel Host is responsible for greeting guests and providing excellent service, preparing/assembling welcome amenities, ensuring all cash drops are done in accordance with proper cash handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, handling confidential guest information, resolving guest complaints professionally and quickly, working with food & beverage operations including bartending and barista duties.

The Hotel Host creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for the complete guest experience; to include the Hotel Host Stand, the Bakery Café, the Guest Kitchen, guest check in and out and the servicing of the meeting rooms. Previous guest service experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests is required.

We have high expectations for this wonderful new product and are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality to fill this role. The salary range for this position is $15.00/hour.
