Job summary

BelAir Cantina in Milwaukee seeks an enthusiastic host/hostess to warmly greet guests, manage dining flow, and seat guests with eye contact. You will coordinate with servers and managers to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

You will accommodate seating preferences, communicate clearly, multitask duties, support to-go orders, and uphold BelAir's hospitality standards. Growth opportunities exist within a fun, team-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests with a warm and gracious smile and eye contact.
• Manage the flow of the dining area, including wait times, seating assignments, and escorting guests to their seats.
• Professionally accommodate special needs and seating preferences for guests as much as possible.
• Begin from the moment a guest enters the restaurant, ensure the BelAir experience is provided.
• Communicate clearly, positively, and effectively with guests, staff, and management.
• Multitask duties, including assisting servers in cleaning and clearing tables, sweeping floors, and inspecting presentation.
• Support the team with tasks such as to-go orders and serving guests with chips, salsa, and water.
• Take ownership of the host stand and all host duties.
