IHOP hosted team member position inviting applicants who can greet guests, seat them promptly, take To-Go orders, and upsell items. You will also answer phones, manage wait lists, and ensure a cheerful dining experience.

Applicants should be able to lift 25–50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, and work in shifts while delivering friendly service. IHOP emphasizes guest satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, seating guests and escorting them.
• Open door for guests arriving and departing.
• Accommodates special needs (boosters, highchairs, disabilities).
• Process To-Go and Delivery Orders.
• Manage wait list during busy times.
• Provide menu recommendations and information.
• Upsell additional products when appropriate.
• Take orders using software, slips, or memory.
• Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests.
• Deliver checks and collect payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
