Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage waitlists, seat guests, provide menus, and assist servers with initial drink orders in a fast-paced dining room.

You will be the first and last impression, delivering world-class service with a positive, energetic attitude, handling phone inquiries, restocking front-of-house supplies, and helping with opening/closing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering world-class guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and supporting team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Provide guests with accurate wait times and manage waitlists.
• Seat guests, provide menus, and assist servers with initial drink orders.
• Answer guest questions about the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information on menu, pricing, hours, promotions and policies.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Monitor table turnover and cleanliness of the front-of-house.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Inform management of large parties or guest concerns.
• Answer phones professionally and direct to the appropriate team.
