Job summary

Nomikai in Las Vegas is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet guests, seat parties, and create a welcoming dining room experience.

You will coordinate reservations, communicate with kitchen and management, and ensure outstanding guest service throughout the shift. A positive attitude, strong communication, and teamwork are essential in this role at our Venetian property. This position supports marketing events and guest experiences, with opportunities to engage in special casino promotions.

Qualifications

• Greet, interact, entertain and serve guests courteously and promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries politely.
• Oversee daily restaurant reservations and seating.
• Communicate special requests to management.
• Ensure smooth phone etiquette and prompt call handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and guest relations throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet, interact, entertain and serve guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude.
• Anticipate Guest needs and respond to all guest inquiries, requests, directions and information in a courteous and polite manner.
• Always go above and beyond to accommodate guests’ special requests.
• Oversee daily restaurant reservations, pre-assign seating when and where necessary.
• Communicate with management regarding special requests – responsible for conveying all such information to management.
• Response to restaurant telephone calls courteously, quickly and efficiently (within three rings).
• Escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables; presentation/knowledgeable on QR code menus and extend pleasantries.
• Maintain complete knowledge of scheduled daily activities, in-house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers/ proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant.
• Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and performs model/presenter tasks.
• Assist in the development of promotional plans to increase business levels and sales.
