Job summary

Terratron in Rochester, MN seeks a friendly Restaurant Host to greet guests, manage seating flow, support dining room readiness, and assist with to-go and room service orders. You will help with point-of-sale and payment activity while keeping guest areas clean and welcoming.

You will collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure guest satisfaction, follow safety and brand standards, and adapt to busy service periods, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional customer service mindset.
• Experience handling payments and cashier duties.
• Ability to operate a POS and take accurate orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Escort guests to tables based on availability and needs.
• Answer phones and take to-go or room service orders.
• Enter requests into the POS system accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry.
• Support opening/closing duties and side work as needed.
• Communicate guest needs to the F&B team and leadership.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
