Job summary

Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a host to welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. You will seat guests promptly, follow AOA service standards and Forbes Travel Guide guidelines, and assist with taking orders and payments when needed.

Maintain clean host stand, manage guest flow with OpenTable, and collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure a flawless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of restaurant host experience.
• Must be punctual and follow policy.
• Able to stand for long periods and carry heavy items.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests quickly and efficiently with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Seat guests according to AOA standards.
• Take food and beverage orders and input into POS correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with kitchen, staff and managers regarding allergies or special requests.
• Assist with setting up and resetting tables and maintaining a clean host stand and entrance.
